Roles & Responsibilities

Because Human Capital deals with many aspects of employee life, its roles and responsibilities span the complete employee life-cycle. The primary areas of responsibility that Guident’s Human Capital organization supports are:

Recruiting

Guident’s recruiters work tirelessly to find the best candidates who fit Guident’s needs.

On-boarding

Human Capital conducts new hire orientations for new employees to assimilate them into Guident and assist them with required on-boarding activities.

Career Development

Human Capital maintains the Guident Career Model and works with management and employees to ensure the model is communicated and understood in order to promote long-term employee career growth.

Coaching Program

Guident’s Coaching Program is managed by the Human Capital organization to promote communication between various levels of the company.

Performance Evaluation Process

Human Capital oversees the performance evaluation process, which is conducted semi-annually. During each review cycle, managers/supervisors provide formal feedback to employees on their performance. This is also the time frame for employees to self-assess for promotions.

Resource Management Process

Human Capital develops and maintains the process for tracking our staffing resources. This process provides senior management with a view into current and future staffing requirements in order to forecast and plan for future assignments for our consultants.

Company Newsletter

A newsletter detailing information ranging from project status to employee fun facts is designed, written, and published twice per year by Human Capital. This is just another mechanism for communicating pertinent corporate information to employees.

Project Team Lunches

At least once per year, Human Capital will take the employees of each Guident project team out to lunch. This provides the employees with an opportunity to ask questions and get information on company activities in an informal setting.

Staff Meetings

Each quarter, Human Capital organizes a meeting for the entire Guident staff. Because our employee base works in a variety of locations, Staff Meetings provide the opportunity for our employees to be together in one location. Members of Guident’s leadership team communicate relevant corporate information as well as recognize individual and group achievements.

On top of all these things, perhaps the most important responsibility of the Human Capital organization is its involvement with staff concerns. Human Capital is the first point-of-contact for any career, job morale, or employment issue and is equipped with answers to your various needs.
