Guident Hires Denise Tauriello as Director of Health IT
Tauriello Adds over 23 Years of Healthcare Business Consulting Expertise
Herndon, VA - July 10, 2012 - Guident, a leading integrator of business intelligence and systems engineering services to the government and commercial marketplaces, today announced that is has hired Denise Tauriello as Director of Health IT. In this role, Ms. Tauriello is responsible for the growth and management of Guident's healthcare vertical across all of its practice areas. Specifically, she oversees multiple business intelligence and systems engineering efforts for large military and civilian federal health agencies.

Ms. Tauriello brings over 23 years of business consulting expertise with an emphasis on health information technology and health information exchange (HIE) across both commercial and government markets, as well as the various applications and interdependencies across the health delivery system. Previously, Ms. Tauriello served as a Senior Associate with Booz Allen Hamilton, leading several strategic engagements with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

Ms. Tauriello holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Minor in Philosophy from Lynchburg College. She is also certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute, and has earned a Grants Management Certification from Management Concepts as well as a Leadership Coaching Certification from Georgetown University.
