Pat Ways (Chair)
Pat Ways spent over 27 years with IBM in various technical and management positions and 11 years with CSC in several executive management positions including as President of Business Development. He retired from CSC in June 2003. He is currently consulting with several small businesses in the Federal Information Technology area. He is a two-time winner of the Fed 100 award.
Tracy Graves-Stevens
President of Mantech MSM Security Services. Ms. Graves-Stevens joined ManTech International as part of the December 2002 acquisition of Communications Technology Exchange (CTX), where she served as the President and Chief Executive Officer. CTX was a provider of software and architectural engineering solutions to the Defense and Intelligence Community. Prior to that, Ms. Graves-Stevens had a lengthy career with Logicon Corporation, a Defense systems engineering firm, where she served as a Director supporting a number of large National Security programs. Ms. Graves-Stevens began her career with the Central Intelligence Agency where she worked in technical and leadership roles. Ms. Graves-Stevens brings over 20 years of experience and leadership supporting the Defense and Intelligence Community.
Al Pesachowitz
Al retired from the Federal government with over 32 years of experience including 10 years in the management of budget and finance programs at the Environmental Protection Agency. Al’s last federal position was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Associate Assistant Administrator for the EPA. He received two Presidential Meritorious Awards, he was honored by Federal Computer Week with three Fed 100 awards and was inducted into the Government Computer News, CIO hall of fame in 2000. He also served as the first vice-chair of the Federal CIO Council.
Jim Flyzik
Jim Flyzik As President of The Flyzik Group, Jim Flyzik is responsible for providing strategic business and performance-based contracting consulting services, as well as training and thought leadership to public sector IT companies. Prior to this position, Mr. Flyzik serves as Senior Advisor to Governor Ridge in the White House Office of Homeland Security (OHS), providing national strategy and information management advice. Mr. Flyzik also served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Information Systems and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the Department of the Treasury, as well as Chief of the Communications Division for the U.S. Secret Service. He has received numerous performance-related awards from organizations such as AFCEA, the Federation of Government Information Processing Councils, and the Industry Advisory Council. In 2002, he was selected by the CIO Council to receive the Azimuth Award as the Government Executive of the Year.
